If your pet is showing any of the following symptoms please call our office and schedule an appointment to come in as soon as possible:
- Any unusual odor
- Bloated abdomen
- Change in appetite—decreased or increased
- Change in normal activity level: lethargy, hyperactivity, or restlessness
- Change in urination: location, frequency, amount, color, smell
- Change to the color of the tongue and gums (Any blue, purple, or pale hue)
- Clumsy or disoriented behavior
- Coughing, especially at night
- Crying in pain when touched
- Crying out while urinating
- Diarrhea
- Difficulty breathing or labored breathing
- Excessive drooling
- Hair loss
- Limping
- Loss of consciousness
- Nose-bleed or bruising anywhere on the body
- Panting in a cat
- Runny eyes or nose
- Seizures
- Sneezing excessively
- Squinting
- Straining in the litter box without producing any urine
- Sudden collapse
- Sudden inability to move back legs
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Unintended weight loss
- Vomiting
